Land Acknowledgement

Artful Brain Creations is located in Treaty 6 Territory and the homeland of the Métis Nation. I respectfully acknowledge the Cree, Denesuline and Métis peoples who have lived on and cared for these lands since time since long before recorded history.

While I am not Indigenous myself, Métis culture and traditions are part of my everyday life. I have had the privilege of learning from and participating in Métis culture through those close to me, and I approach that learning with respect and gratitude.

I am grateful to live and create here, and recognize the importance of continuing to learn, listen, and build respectful relationships with the Indigenous peoples of these lands.
