Perseverance is the second piece in a series called "Strength Within".
It portrays a side profile of a leopard, crafted out of white and black leather pieces and grey-ish brown as the eye colour.
Pieces in this series are meant to portray strength. However, we as humans often struggle to recognize our own strength, but are capable of recognizing strength in animals. For this reason all pieces in this series portray animals humans generally think are strong.
These pieces are meant to help remind us of just how amazingly strong we truly are. We can overcome challenges. Simply because deep within us is a strength we didn't know we could tap into, until the moment it was all we could do to keep doing. The strength is within us, and pieces in this series are meant to remind me of this strength.
Or perhaps it's just a leopard to you, and that's perfectly OK too.
