Partners in Crime

Partners in Crime is a diptych art piece and part of a series called  "Strength Within". 

It is the first piece in the series and was originally named Strength Within, but ultimately renamed it to Partners in Crime, since there are 2 of them, so I wouldn't get confused.

It's a piece I created because I wanted to challenge myself and see if I could. 

It portrays a half-sized tiger and leopard, crafted out of white and black leather pieces and with a hint of blue for the eyes.

Pieces in this series are meant to portray strength. However, we as humans often struggle to recognize our own strength, but are capable of recognizing strength in animals. For this reason all pieces in this series portray animals humans generally think are strong.

These pieces are meant to help remind us of just how amazingly strong we truly are. We can overcome challenges. Simply because deep within us is a strength we didn't know we could tap into, until the moment it was all we could do to keep doing. The strength is within us, and pieces in this series are meant to remind me of this strength.
